It’s a new year, a new world, and I’m tackling this blogging thing with renewed vigor.
At the end of 2016, I left my job in Hong Kong, broke lease on my flat, tossed my things into a storage unit in gritty, industrial East Kowloon, and hopped a one-way flight to Bangkok. The autumn and winter took me to Thailand, Myanmar (Burma), Vietnam, back to Hong Kong, Japan, Chicago, Los Angeles, and New Orleans - twice!
In an effort to make sense of what I’ve seen, reflect on how far I’ve come, remind me how much work I have yet to do, and chart my next steps, I’ll be updating this blog every other week with photo essays - and not just food ones.
Enjoy, get in touch, share feedback, and remember to never stop moving and resisting.
